May Mother's Day Brunch: Sunday, May 13 at 10:45 a.m. in Miller Hall. Please join us after our worship service for a Mother's Day brunch. Everyone is welcome.
"Living the Questions" (LtQ): Wednesday, May 2 and May 9 from 1-3 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. in the church house. LtQ is an open-minded study that strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring both their current beliefs and the future of Christianity and the church. We will use DVD resources with 20 minute video segments that include conversations with leading voices of faith, stories that illustrate aspects of an evolving faith, and concrete spiritual practices and disciplines. Come and join the conversation; everyone
is welcomed. If you did attend the beginning sessions and would like to
join in now, give the office a call at 310-375-4441, and we can provide
you with a binder with all of the old session topics.
Crop Walk: Saturday, May 19 starting at Redondo Beach United Methodist Church at 8:00 a.m.
Outreach
Project: During
the months of April and May we will be collecting toys and children’s
shoes for “Christmas Beyond Borders,” a project of the UCC’s Centro
Romero program.
You will find a box in the narthex for your donations.
Please see the April Newsletter for details.
